In just a decade Ann Serna has created a strong following for her innovative style that has a fresh and polished look often with unexpected and beguiling twists.
Her brand of interiors reflects a unique style and artistic vision that precedes current fashion. Her goal is to inspire with the beauty of artful displays and fascinate with the most forward looking designs. Her projects reflect her love of mixing modern concepts with natural elements.
Her concept is the creation of spaces that are comfortable yet practical, while adhering to her client’s lifestyle, personality, taste and needs. She has a large resource of showrooms, vendors and artisans whom she has utilized and vetted over many years that guarantee superior products and performance, cumulating in under budget, on schedule projects.
Ann’s talents as a designer were honed for many years in the fashion industry as a stylist and a visual merchandiser working for major department stores and boutiques. During this time she worked with fashion designers, vendors and merchants creating award winning window displays and special events. Expanding her horizons she accepted a position with Restoration Hardware as a District Visual Manager in charge of the visual enhancement of numerous stores thought Southern California and Arizona, She worked with them for many years refining her management and organizational skills and traveling the country assisting at the opening of new stores.
Seeking other avenues of creativity she took a position with an established interior design firm Design Tec that specialized in the design of model homes. She continued with this endeavor for several years until the need to independently express her own creativity that lead her to open her own Lifestyle Boutique and Interior Design firm. Ann has worked on various projects covering real estate staging; turn-key projects commercial interiors, special events and weddings. Designing furniture, restoring local flea market finds transforming and repurposing found objects and a passion for floral design are some of her many creative outlets.
